for the past 3 years has been an honor and I want to continue that work for four more years. I made commitments during the 2014 campaign and I have kept those commitments! I want to continue to make improvements and enhancements to the County Clerk's Office. I want to thank the deputies clerks who I work side by side with daily and the customers of the clerks office!

Get to know Tabatha!

I am a lifelong Grant Countian and I currently reside in Stewartsville with my husband, Joe and our children; Jeffrey and Madalynn. I learned to work hard from my grandparents, parents and family at an early age. I grew up working on my grandparent's farm, in parent's produce store and volunteering in our community. My work ethic only grew stronger when I met my husband who inspires me with his initiative and diligence. I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family and enjoying helping our son show hogs!

Professionally, I am a member of the Kentucky County Clerk's Association and serve on the modernization of Motor Vehicle Licensing Committee, Recording Committee and the Kentucky Automated Vehicle Information System Working Group. I'm an advocate for small counties in Kentucky!

I am honored to be your Grant County Clerk. I want to continue to work for the people of Grant County as your County Clerk.

  • Hold Mock Elections at both Grant County and Williamstown High Schools
  • Support Help A Veteran Everyday through Hope for Veterans License Plate Birdhouse Fundraiser
  • Donated 150 backpacks to our school children through the Office Depot Foundation and the NFWL
Effective Communication
  • Website launched January 2nd, 2015 with online renewals available
  • Facebook page to keep our community informed
  • Land records available online back to 2006 through current
  • Started online tutorial videos and will continue to launch videos to serve customers
  • Continue to advocate for the Grant County Fiscal Court to improve the accessibility of the Clerk's Office
Financial Management
  • Manage a 7 million dollar budget yearly
  • In 2015-2016 produced over $160,000 in excess fees that are turned over to the Grant County Fiscal Court
  • Made sound financial decisions to improve the office 
  • Provide election training to Precinct Election Officers to save the County money
